FAQs


Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes, tickets must be purchased  in advance.

How big is the boat and how many people will it hold?

We operate three different vessels, a 50' Morgan, a 41' Morgan and a 41' Bristol Sea lion. Due to United States Coast Guard Regulations we can carry up to 6 passengers, not including our crew.

Are children allowed to attend?

Children aged 5 and up are more than welcome to attend. Keep in mind that any children 5 and up will still count towards the capacity of 6. Also keep in mind the following Regulations- Per Federal PFD Requirement for Children

Vessels operating on waters outside the geographical boundaries of Florida (three miles or the edge of the Gulf Stream, whichever is greater, off the Atlantic coast or nine miles off the Gulf of Mexico coast) are subject to the new federal PFD regulation for children.On these waters, each child under 13 years of age who is underway on a recreational vessel must wear an appropriate USCG-approved PFD unless the child is below deck or in an enclosed cabin.

What happens if it rains?

The cruise will run rain or shine, and will only be cancelled if the Captain deems the trip unsafe. Please call to ensure trip is still going to occur. 

What kind of food is provided?

We will be serving traditional American cuisine on our overnight trips. This includes a steak, chicken, or fish option for dinner served with potatoes, salad, and dessert. We can accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice

Can I bring food and drinks with me?

Food and beverages are included, but you are welcome to bring your own and there is a cooler on board for food and drinks. You are also welcome to bring your own small ice chest.

Is the cruise narrated?

The cruise is not narrated but the crew will be happy to answer any questions you may have and are experts on the local waters.

Is the boat wheelchair and handicap accessible?

Unfortunately, our boat is not wheelchair and handicap accessible.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions while purchasing the tickets.

Is alcohol permitted on the vessel?

Alcohol is permitted however no glass is allowed on the boat. Patrons are expected to drink responsibly for safety reasons.

Do you have life jackets?

Yes, we have enough life jackets for every passenger, but you will not be required to wear them during the cruise for over age 13. Per Federal PFD Requirement for Children

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes, all participants will be required to sign a waiver. Parents or guardians must sign the waiver for those under 18 years of age.

Is this a private sail or will others join us?

This is a private sail as you are chartering both crew and vessel.

Is there a shower on board?

Yes, there is a basic  shower that guests are welcome to use.

How will the sleeping accommodations work?

Depends on the vessel, generally you will have one en suite with a queen bed that can sleep 2,  a salon table/bed that can sleep 2-3 and  there is a twin bunk that sleeps 2. Of course you are welcome to sleep under the stars on the deck. Sheets and pillows will be provided.

Is snorkel gear included in the price?

Snorkel gear is included in your trip. If you wear size 15 shoe you would need to bring your own for your own comfort. 

Do I have to worry about seasickness?

We cannot recommend medications to take. If you are prone to seasickness, please check-in with your doctor prior to purchasing tickets. Most of our guests find Bonine very helpful if taken the night before as if it make you drowsy you sleep through that and it lasts for 24 hours. Again check with your doctor before taking any medications. 

I’m pregnant. Can I still go on the cruise?

Pregnant women are more than welcome to join us however, we suggest they consult with a doctor before doing so.

Will we get to see any local wildlife?

We often see dolphins, angel fish, snapper, lobsters, and sea turtles swimming along the sides of the boat, as well as various local bird species.

Is there a restroom on the boat?

There is a restroom aboard the vessel. There is also a cabin for someone to change into a swimsuit if needed.

Can I stow anything on the boat?

There will be room to store personal belongings on the boat.

Where do I park?

Free parking is available at Smugglers bar and restaurant

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is permitted on the stern deck.

Can I bring my dog or pet?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the vessel as we live on the boats and have a standard poodle named "Captain Jack" and a cat named "Freya"

Should I tip the crew?

Gratuity is not included in the price of your ticket and is always greatly appreciated for a stellar job.

Are gift certificates available?

At this time, gift certificates are not available.

Are firearms allowed onboard?

Yes, legal, CCW permit holders may bring their personal carry sidearms on board, but must be declared to the Captain. We can also provide a secure lockup for you.


Weather Policy

Activity may be cancelled due to severe weather. Call before your trip!!

The activity usually runs in light rain and other moderate weather conditions, but the seller may cancel the activity up to an hour before the start time in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. If the seller cancels the event, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule tickets (subject to availability) or receive credit for a future event.

Other Policies

All participants are required to sign a waiver.

All participants must sign a waiver and participants under 18 years old must have their parent or guardian sign the waiver for them.
